Karin and Jakob Schwabl run Hotel Wiesenegg, the Wieshofgut and their own farm – together with their children, Jakob jr. and Bascht, and their partners. 

Karin and daughter-in-law Sandra look after the well-being of guests at the hotel. You’ll find them either at reception, in the restaurant or making their rounds through the hotel. Karin's son Bascht lends a hand as well, often taking care of the culinary side of things. They always greet guests with a smile and are happy to offer advice and support. Little Annalena, daughter of Sandra and Bascht, is the youngest of our hosts at Wiesenegg. 

Jakob sr. and Jakob jr. look after the family farm. It's an operation where the cows have names and graze on lush alpine meadows throughout the summer. The goats, too, enjoy the fresh air of the pasture and the alpine landscape. The natural surroundings and the family's conscientious approach to farming ensure the animals thrive and that the highest-quality products can be produced. Milk, dairy products and meat at Wiesenegg come either from the family's own farm or from regional producers who work under the same principles. 

Jakob jr. and his partner Nina, along with Ida and little Josefa, have been warmly welcoming guests at the newly built Wieshofgut since 2021!
